The International Federation of Medical Students Associations-Saudi Arabia (IFMSA-SA) Executive Board is hereby pleased to announce the call for applications for the Local Member Organization Representative positions ( LMOR) for each university for the next term September 16, 2011-August 31, 2012.
Job description
Reports to: Vice President for Local Chapters :
1- The Local Member Organization Representative assist the Executive Board in their tasks in the university (region) by supervising and organizing the work for the team and be primarily responsible for the association at the local level of the concerned LMO.
2- Establishing the LMO in the university and conducting the agreed rules of IFMSA-SA to the LMO.
3- Maintaining the IFMSA-SA image in the LMO.
4- Arranging and organizing the LMO meetings.
5- Representing the LMO at any concerned sector (governmental and non-governmental).
6- Holding responsibility of the LMO financial issues.
7- Developing the LMO and supervising the local recruitment campaigns.
8- Supporting the local standing committees and coordinating their work.
9- Providing the needed support to implement the local projects.
10- Providing financial support or assigning someone to do so.
11- Evaluating the LMO activity regularly.
12- Responsible for any additional tasks assigned later from the President or the VPLC within the LMO scope; this is including marketing, media and training in case there are no appointed officers for these.
Terms and Conditions for Candidatures:
1- Candidates have to be a full member of IFMSA-SA*
2- Candidates should have a considerable experience in IFMSA-SA work.
3- Candidates must submit the following candidature documents: A copy of the national ID page or Iqama, CV, motivational letter, an

5- Candidates are expected to present their candidatures in the plenaries sessions in the national GA.
6- No gender discrimination.

8- Deadline for receiving candidature is on Wednesday 23:59 GMT+3, August 31, 2011.
9- successful applicant will be subjected to an election process by the students members of the same LMO (University).
10- Applicant can only apply to one position!
* N.B. IFMSA-SA official membership will be launched on the 1st day of our national GA. However, registering to attend the national GA is automatically guaranteeing you a membership for one year as part of the GA package.

I'm hereby pleased to announce a call for applicants on the vacant position: Vice President for Planning and GrowthAssistant.
Any IFMSA-SA member can apply for this position, and the priority goes with the most qualified, expert, and enthusiastic applicant.
As VPG assistant, you need to:
1- Assist the VPG in his planning and growth strategies and duties.
2- Have a well-developed knowledge about planning and growth field and it's official description.
3- Have a good writing skills (Arabic, most importantly English)
4- Have a good Social skills (relationship building skills, speaking skills, listening skills)
5- Language fluent (Arabic, English)
6- Represent Planning and Growth Division on behalf of the VPG in all national and international meetings, if the VPG will not attend them.
7- Attended at least one or two workshops about (Team management, Project management, or Time management)

I hope all is well. This is the call for the Late registration for IFMSA 60th General Assembly - August Meeting 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. - What is the IFMSA August Meeting? The IFMSA August Meeting is an annual meeting done by the IFMSA, where medical students from all over the world meet and discuss various health issues from their countries and globally. In this meeting, all the IFMSA committees meet in workshops, training sessions and lectures. In this meeting, IFMSA officials are elected as well. Plus, there is always the fun aspect of the meeting, especially considering the fact that it's the 60th anniversary of IFMSA!! - When and where is the Meeting? This year’s meeting will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from August 1 to August 7. - Are you interested?? If you're interested in attending the meeting please visit the website www.am2011denmark.com and register. Please send a confirmation email to nogo@ifmsa-sa.org and nogo.re@ifmsa-sa.org with your CV attached. Your registration doesn't not mean that you are attending. After you register, the names that the President approve will be contacted to complete their payment. Once you submit your payment, you will be confirmed on the website, and then you can start arranging your travelling plans (visa, tickets ect.). NOTE: - The students who are members in the National Board of IFMSA-SA will have the priority over the others, and the students in the Local Committees of the IFMSA-SA will have priority over medical students not in the IFMSA-SA. Each standing committee (SCOGO, SCOPH, SCORP, and SCOME) must have at least one representative. - Cost: The fees are divided to: - Ticket to Copenhagen - Late Registeration fees (400 Euros): that includes accomodation, food, and transportation (from/to airport) - Schingen Visa fees for those who need it (around 300 Riyals) - Females: Companions Issues: Female participation is highly appreciated. However, the IFMSA-SA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPANIONS. If a female participates need a companion, she has to arrange for his/her travel and stay. - What is the Deadline for registration??
